Orthotics

Orthotics are an orthopedic device that aid in the support and correction of limb and torso function by providing proprioceptive input.  Proprioception is defined as your body’s perception of movement and relative position of neighbouring parts of your body.

Orthotics are custom-made using a foam cast.  They are used to treat conditions including: metatarsalgia, plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonosis, shin splits, ITB syndrome, patellofemoral syndrome, knee OA and mechanical low back pain.
