Pediatric Care

Chiropractic care is a gentle treatment that can help with pediatric musculoskeletal health complaints including nursing difficulties (such as latching), muscle imbalances and spinal health, to name a few. Additionally, as the infant grows, learning to hold their head up, sit, crawl and walk are all activities that affect spinal development and alignment. As your child begins to explore and participate in regular childhood activities, injuries soon follow with bumps, bruises and tumbles. These are all important times to have your child examined by a chiropractor.

At your child’s appointment, the chiropractor will review their health history and perform a physical exam to determine the treatment necessary. Chiropractic adjustive procedures are modified to appropriately fit a child’s age, size, and weight. Adjustments are both gentle and specific to your child’s developing spinal structures.
